DoJ Drops Investigation of Powell +3

The DoJ has dropped its investigation of Fed Chair Jerome Powell.  This should clear the way for confirmation of Warsh, who is expected to pave the way for significant changes at the committee.  It remains to be seen whether or not Powell will resign or remain a member.  Regardless, the market is taking this positively as trading becomes just as disconnected from reality as politician's statements on the war in the Middle East.  Next week's Fed press conference may finally be interesting, though.
