Trump is claiming that Maduro has been captured after air strikes on Caracas.  The Venezuelan state is accusing America of making an "imperialist" attack, though it is not clear what the power structure there is at this point.  American equity futures don't appear to have reacted much yet, remaining positive except for the Nasdaq, but there's plenty of weekend left.  I expect market participants will get to wondering what problems this actually solves, and what the next steps are soon enough.  I'll get back to my CES and Beyond write up, but didn't want that to be published without at least bookmarking this development.
